Raw score, CELPIP level and CLB
Raw score
The number of questions you answered correctly. CELPIP does not print it on your report.
CELPIP level
What your score report shows for listening, from M up to 12.
CLB
What IRCC uses for Express Entry. It is the same number as your CELPIP level.

Why the same score can be two levels
Every test form is slightly easier or harder than the next. CELPIP adjusts raw scores for this, a step called equating, so 31 correct on a harder form can earn a higher level than 31 on an easier one. That is why the ranges in the chart overlap.
Find out where you are now
Our practice sets are shorter than the real test, so we do not turn a practice score into an official level. A full mock test gives you an estimate.
